Week 9 in review: Upon reviewing the replay from the “week 8 review” the ruling on the field still stands: Cleveland still sucks

So, thanks to the 28 out perfect game, people are now back harping on the whole replay issue, and Selig is apparently turning back to his powerless and completely pointless “special” committee (and I do mean special) to answer the eternal question that is baseballs pandoras box: how much more do we need to extend instant replay.

Ya know what? Lets stop BSing around and just do it. Make a 5th umpire that sits in a booth the whole game with the announcers for the home team. Theyll have access to the instand replays from the TV feed and they can instantly see the play from every needed angle and make a reversal in under 30 seconds. 30 seconds, because the manager isnt gonna argue with an umpire that isnt there, or maybe 3 umpires, that way theres no bias.

Biggest Yankee Game
6/6/10: Yankees-4, Blue Jays-3
We were about the be swept by the Toronto Blue Jays and our only ray of light was Javy Vazquez…no one would fault you for thinking “awe f*ck, here we go again”
But NO! Javy Vazquez allowed only 1 hit in 7 innings for the win…Ill repeat that.
Javy Vazquez pitched a gem against an American League team. That doesnt happen.

…Then again, Toronto isnt exactly American, so maybe Javy found a loophole in the “You suck against the American League” curse.

Favorite Picture

ballboy.pngFor those unaware, a Toronto ballboy unwittingly fielded a fair ball and threw it into the fans. an umpire and the Blue Jays mascot then proceeded to mess with the kid over it, the umpire taking away his glove and giving it to a nearby officer, while the mascot broke out the caution tape.

Fantasy
Nothing worth mentioning aside from the F*cking Lozers are again all alone in 1st place, while a certain Phenom named Strasburg is debuting for the Nationals this week, which is definatly gonna help my Pretenders team.

This Week
Yankees head to Baltimore to whip some Orioles then head home to kick off interleague play against the Astros.
